Who said food can’t contain yarn? Here is what visited my kitchen table yesterday:
And here is what I made of it:
Cute? You can easily make these. Here is my recipe for the prawelewe muffins
- 5 dl flour
- 2 dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- vanilla flavour
- 2 dl yogurt
- 0,6 dl milk
- 0,9 dl oil
- chocolate/ raisins/ nuts/ seeds (if you like)
WHAT ELSE YOU NEED
- muffin form and/or muffin cups
- oven (obviously)
Set your oven to 200°C (400 F).
Put all the ingredients into a bowl, mix quickly using the highest speed setting in your mixer.
Prepare muffin form (I’m using it with muffin cups). Pour mixed ingredients into each cup up to about 2/3 of the cup height.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven when ready, wait until they cool down.
If you like experiments you can add raisins (rinse and dry them before adding), chocolate, nuts or seeds.
Using two toothpicks and some scrap yarn cast on six stitches and knit in garter stitch until you get a tiny scarf. Roll the remaining yarn into a tiny ball. Stick the toothpicks into the ball. Decorate your muffins with these cute knitted WIPs.
